Cornerstone Village is one of several condominium communities in Midtown Atlanta that encompasses an entire city block!
Created in 2001, Cornerstone Village consists of 4 buildings, each with different features and character.
The historic Manor House, at the corner of 6th and Peachtree was designed by famed architect Neil Reid in 1923. The former Peachtree Manor Hotel later became apartments before its glorious restoration/conversion to 40 one bedroom condos. This building contains the fitness center, a laundry room, and movie theatre. It also has great space for a club room, but it is currently used as the HOA offices.
The Landmark Building, for which the address of 800 Peachtree Street covers ALL of Cornerstone Village, was built in the late 1940’s. This building was gutted and converted into 115 one and two bedroom loft-styled homes. Most of these have some exposed brick as well as duct work, commonly found in a loft. The street level of the building has 17,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
The 100/200 Buildings of Cornerstone Village, also called the Gallery, were newly constructed in 1999-2001. These homes have a “soft loft” feel with high ceilings, exposed duct work and a more contemporary feel. These two buildings surround the community’s resort-style pool and grilling gazebo. Select floor plans have french doors that open to juliette balconies and there are also large one bedroom/den floor plans along with one and two bedrooms.
