Brookhaven is a newly formed city in DeKalb County, directly Northeast of Atlanta, and more specifically, Buckhead. In July, 2012 Brookhaven was approved in a referendum to become DeKalb County’s 11th city, and incorporation officially took place December 17, 2012.
