Briarwood Trace is a short drive (or Uber/Lyft ride) to the Brookhaven MARTA station for access to Downtown as well as the Atlanta Airport. This area of Brookhaven has numerous large, but older apartment complexes and some of them are starting to be torn down and new construction being built, like Townsend at Lenox Park.
Schools that serve Briarwood Trace, located in the Dekalb County School System include Woodward Elementary, Sequoyah Middle and Cross Keys High School (which is walkable from the community!)
