It’s time to take a look at the Midtown Atlanta Market Report for Metropolis Midtown April, 2012.

This was the “guy that started it all”  for the Midtown Atlanta condo market. Originally designed to be one tower of condominiums and one tower of apartments, the entire building was sold as condominiums because of the brisk sales. It’s still a popular Peachtree Street address.

Yet again, we see the extreme decrease in condo inventory from a few years past evident in Metropolis Midtown as well. For April, 2012, there are only 5 homes listed For Sale! JUST FIVE!  They range in list price from $599,000 down to $149,000.

There are 3 homes Under Contract with contingencies, 2 Pending Lender Approval and EIGHT homes that are Pending Sales. The average Sales price of the Pending Sales is $191,000.

There were three homes Sold in Metropolis Midtown in April, 2012. The average sales price was $137,300. In comparison, last year there were also three homes sold. The average sales price for a  2 bedroom was $209,900 and for a 1 bedroom $119,450.
