Metropolis Midtown Atlanta

Metropolis Midtown Atlanta arrived on the scene in 2002. Developed by Novare Group, it started the Midtown condo boom, and Novare went on to develop Spire Midtown, Viewpoint Midtown , The Atlantic Residences and other buildings in Atlanta.

Consisting of 498 one and two bedroom condominiums in two towers, Metropolis Midtown Atlanta also boasts 40,000 sq. ft. of retail space on the street level and an 820 car parking deck. Current retail tenants include Taco Mac, Yes Home, Silk Restaurant, Jimmy John’s and a UPS Store.

Homes in the building were finished with a choice of maple or cherry cabinetry (based on the floor you live on), granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Spacious balconies offer vistas of Midtown, Downtown or the pool deck.

When built, Metropolis Midtown Atlanta was “famous” for the 7th Floor Amenity area. A large crane hoisted the trees and landscape boulders from the street to the 7th Floor.

Along with being a wireless hotspot, The Amenity Floor contains the outdoor pool, grilling patio, rooftop terrace (on top of the fitness center), and a club room, complete with wet bar and catering kitchen. The TV viewing area is not in a separate room like is found in later Novare buildings,

Metropolis Midtown Atlanta is one of the few buildings with a port cochere entrance where guests can be dropped off at the lobby. The sleek lobby has access to both the port cochere and Peachtree Street.

The central portion of Midtown along the North/South streets is lined with high rise condominiums, office towers and several hotels. To the east of Juniper Street starts Historic Midtown, a quiet residential area of single family homes populated by Victorian, American Four Square and craftsman-like bungalows.
